Cairn Vol. THREE

$36.00

This issue of Cairn (our final in the series) is our attempt to listen carefully to that promise and its dissonance. We are not treating “life to the full” as code for comfort, success, or material abundance. Instead, we are looking for lives that seem mysteriously widened from the inside out, often in the very places where loss, limitation, or injustice have closed in. We’ll sit with refugees, recovering addicts, and returning citizens who have wrestled vitality out of circumstances designed to crush it. We’ll linger with artists, gardeners, teachers, and builders whose daily work is to coax beauty and meaning into being. We will pay attention to neighborhoods, parishes, and unlikely communities where interdependence becomes a kind of shared heartbeat. And we’ll look to the natural world to further inspire this tale as old as time.

My hope is that we will come to see that fullness of life is not the absence of grief or danger, but a condition of spirit: a way of partnering with God to build a more just and gentle world, even inside systems not yet healed. Perhaps somewhere in these stories you will recognize your own hunger, your own fear, your own courage.

Let this Cairn be a marker for you along the way, a reminder that even in seasons that feel stripped and bare, the invitation to life to the full is still being offered. May these words and images embolden you to protect, nurture, and share it.

Order your beacon. Mark your way.

In a world drowning in digital noise, Cairn emerges as a sacred marker on the journey toward deeper meaning. More than a magazine, it's a compass for souls seeking direction in turbulent times—a thoughtfully curated collection of essays, poetry, and art that dares to ask: What's ours to make, say, see, do in this season?

Created by the visionary team at BitterSweet, Cairn stands as a beacon for progressive thought and creativity, illuminating pathways for those who refuse to accept cynicism as their default setting. Each issue invites readers into a community of creationaries—not reactionaries—who believe in the transformative power of collaborative being and covenant-centered living.

Cairn Vol. THREE is now available for in-person fulfillment at the event. Orders fulfilled by shipping will be shipped starting May 8th!

NOTE: Fulfillment after the event happens every week on Tuesday. So if your order is placed on Friday, it will be sent out the following Tuesday.
