Join BitterSweet and local DC organizations for an inspiring new event series, Cairn.
Cairn is a seasonal invitation to journey deeper with BitterSweet and the questions we're asking: What’s ours to make, say, see, do in this season? What’s useful? What’s edifying and orienting? What is good? Come, we welcome your presence, voice, and perspective.
The inaugural gathering and accompanying book delve into the theme: "Welcome to the Resistance." This collection features essays, interviews, photography, and art from the BitterSweet community, exploring stories of hope, resilience, and creativity.
On October 2nd, join us for an evening event at Culture House DC (700 Delaware Ave SW, Washington, DC 20024) starting at 6:30 PM.
The program includes a short film screening with renowned theologian Walter Brueggemann, followed by a dynamic panel discussion with the leaders of local organizations such as We Are Family, Little Lights, and Life Pieces to Masterpieces.
Together, we’ll highlight their transformative work and the vibrant landscape of hope, healing, and beauty in Washington, DC.
